In 1994, Peter Hobi opened his own pastry shop, Alphorn Bakery, in downtown Houston, Texas. He specializes in traditional Wedding Cakes, European Pastries, Gourmet Desserts and Cookies. The Alphorn Bakery is supplying Houston's hotels, stadiums, grocery stores, restaurants and private parties with exquisite sweets, desserts and pastries.

Peter moved to the United States from his native country of Switzerland where he earned his Pastry Chef diploma. Peter's family has owned a charming restaurant in Switzerland for over 75 years and learned the value of delivering outstanding quality and service. Peter worked in exclusive private clubs and hotels gaining experience in creating delectable desserts. He brings his knowledge and artistic talents to Houston to help you create your dream Wedding Cake.
